Over this Summer the OCdts have been very busy with four expeditions around the UK. With 34 OCdts finding their sea legs, three gaining their Competent Crew qualification and one gaining their Day Skippers Qualification.

For the majority of the crew it was either their first time on a yacht, or they held only a basic understanding. Even though being onboard was a completely new world, they adapted very quickly, earning how to tie knots, tack and gybe. One of the main joys of sailing was being accompanied by pods of dolphins, allowing the crews to see them up close, mere meters away. Many dolphins joined the expeditions, as well as at a seal at one point.
