Annual Camp 2024 has been the first opportunity in two years to bring Middlesex & North West London Sector ACF together.

A challenging, action-packed training package was led by our Sector Training Officer Major Tony Treadaway. One week of Fieldcraft training followed by a second week of training, held residentially from Brunswick Camp, included various shooting packages, navigation activities and adventure training sessions at Runways Activity Centre Aldershot and Aldershot Ski Centre.

The Commandant, Colonel Angela Richardson, who was Commanding her last Annual Camp parade hosted many distinguished visitors from London Boroughs, Worshipful Livery Companies and stakeholders who support the Sector. Colonel Richardson also appointed the commandant’s bugler, Cadet Corporal Manson from 202 Acton Detachment, 20 Company. He proudly sounded the fall in call onto the final parade.

Many awards were presented by our esteemed guests, including the Sector Stick Orderly Award. The original stick used in the competition was presented to this year’s winner by Major (Ret’d) Stephen Turner, who was impressively the original winner 60 years ago!

Feedback from cadets confirmed that Camp was a resounding success. This is largely due to the vast amount of time and effort that all our volunteers and professional support staff put into the planning and execution of camp.
