On the 14th of July, 6 Cadets and 2 Adult Instructors from 21 Company, Middlesex & North West London ACF took part in Exercise Little Devils, a static line parachute jump at RAF Netheravon.
All attendees took part in ground training on the Friday and Saturday where they learned all the skills necessary to jump, fly and land safely.
Sunday, the day of the jump, came and after a short refresher lesson all participants loaded into their aircraft ‘The Badger’. They then flew up to 5000 feet where they conducted the jump! Nerves were certainly high, but this quickly disappeared after jumping. Leaping from ‘The Badger’ their parachutes deployed and they began their descent. All eight touched down safely and are looking forward to the next opportunity to do it again.
