As part of a recent Task Group deployment, One of HMS WILDFIRE’s very own, Lt Tucker was deployed to an exciting role with the UK Carrier Strike Group onboard HMS Prince of Wales.
As a Submarine Operations Specialist, Lt Tucker was deployed as part of the Submarine Advisory Team during the carrier’s recent deployment for exercise.
Lt Tucker was responsible for ensuring the safety and effective employment of task group submarines. As with many Reservists deployed alongside the regular service Lt Tucker was able to offer a unique set of specialist skills and fresh perspectives to the Carrier Strike Group Battle Staff team.
In parallel to performing her role, Lt Tucker was able to take part in whole ship activities such as the weekly park run around the flight deck and a special viewing of the northern lights from within the arctic circle!
