The Sikh Military Foundation has signed the Armed Forces Covenant, pledging its support to the Armed Forces community and recognising the important contribution that those from the military – past and present – make to an organisation.

The covenant was signed by Air Vice-Marshal Ranald Munro CB CBE TD VR DL, Commandant Royal Auxiliary Air Force and co-signed by Mr Gurpreet Singh Anand, Trustee, Sikh Military Foundation.

The event was hosted by the Punjab Restaurant, Covent Garden as they revalidated their Silver commitment on the ERS ladder this year.

The event was attended by Minister for Veterans and People, Alistair Carns MC OBE MP who said:

“I thank the Sikh Military Foundation for all they do to support Sikh Armed Forces community and ensure their amazing contributions are celebrated. Through signing the covenant, they have further cemented their support for this vital group.

“Defence is at its best when it is diverse, through recruiting and retaining the very best regardless of background, we are proud to offer a rewarding and engaging career for everyone.”
